Forgive and Forget

Something to share with you, you, you and you... enjoy reading

What according to you makes a relationship last a lifetime? Is it only love and understanding. Well it takes lot more than that to make a relationship work.

And one of the most important aspects of this is the ability to forgive your partner. It takes a lot of courage to forgive and one who learns to forgive learns to love and make a relationship work. It is said "To err is human and to forgive is divine". How true it is. For only forgiveness can make you understand what love really is.

On forgiving and Forgetting

When you forgive you do it for you, not for the other. Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It is not something you do for someone else. But it is something you do for yourself and in a way you give yourself peace of mind and it makes you a good person. Refusing to forgive by holding on to the anger, resentment and a sense of betrayal can make your own life miserable. There is nothing so bad that cannot be forgiven. So don't hold on to the anger and resentment but let go of it and you will be much happier in life.

A healthy love relationship is not possible without forgiveness! If you have been hurt in your love relationship then it is not possible to enter into fresh relationships unless you have learnt to forgive. You cannot have a loving and rewarding relationship with anyone else, much less yourself, if you continue to hold on to things that happened in the past.

Living with Love

Regardless of the situation, making peace with past love partners, your parents, children, your boss or anyone who you think may have "done you wrong" is the only way to improve your chances of a "healthy" relationship with yourself or anyone else for that matter! It is not possible to truly be present and available to a new relationship until you heal the hurt and upsets of the past. You can never live in the present and create a new and exciting future for yourself and your love partner if you always stay stuck in the past. Remember there is no future in the past and all the love awaits you in the future.

Forgive and forget is a myth. You may never forget but you can choose to forgive and move on. With time the hurt and the pain will fade. Forgiveness cleanses your system of the poison that will surely worsen and cause sufferings and continued misery if not released. Don't poison your mind with resentment and anger. You cannot take the poison and expect someone else to die. Those who have wronged you will go on with their life and you will be the only one to continue to suffer. So learn to forgive and move on with your life. Remember you deserve to be happy.

Get to know yourself better

Get to know yourself better, try this >>> http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Law of attraction

The law of attraction is the most powerful force in the universe. It is a law, that if worked in harmony with, can bring you much in the way of blessings and success. If you work against it, it can only bring you pain and misery.
People who are successful know the law of attraction, but not many people know about it. This truth has been hidden for years. Very prominent people have kept it hidden from the lower class for many centuries only because some wanted all the fortune for themselves and did not want to share it. The outcome for these people was catastrophic. It is a known fact that if you know the Law of Attraction, and acted in accordance with it, you could get anything you wanted in life.

The universal law of attraction is simple. We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to. It doesn’t matter whether it is good or bad. If we focus on bad things, we will attract more bad things.
Ever heard of the expression everything happens in threes? The reason this happens is because when one bad thing happens, you are focusing on that bad thing so another bad thing or event occurs. As long as you focus on anything bad, badness will continue to manifest itself in your life. But the minute you stop focusing on bad and focus in on good, you change the pattern and now good things start coming your way.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you live. It doesn’t even matter your religion or stature in life. The law of attraction is there and works for everyone. You just have to connect to it.

Do you know you have enough energy in your body to light a city for a month? If you could tap into this, you wouldn’t have to pay your electric bill anymore. But the only problem is we are conditioned not to use those resources for the betterment of ourselves. We allow others to control us, tell us what to think, say, or do. If we could harness the power of our minds, we would be invincible.

This is why for centuries, this law was kept secret from everyone. Imagine what you could achieve if you used one-tenth the power your mind possessed.

For years, we were brainwashed to follow a certain path. We couldn’t think for ourselves. We had to just live day-by-day and solve problems as they came up. We couldn’t use our creative mind to do the things we truly wanted to do. We were told that life was off limits and that we had to do what we were told or pay the consequences. Ever wonder why this world is so screwed up now? It is because we have been inhibited for so long. If we knew the law of attraction and applied it in our lives daily, we would have so much power and control that it would be scary.
